Thank you for supporting the Online News Association's annual conference, ONA24! We're excited to host your breakfast event. This form will help us set your event up for success and target the audience you hope to reach.

This form has three sections: Event Details, Speaker Information, and RSVP Set-Up.

Event title

No more than ~15 words.

We are looking for a witty and descriptive title that would grab an attendee’s attention as they are scrolling through the agenda to figure out which sessions to attend.

Event description

Limiting to ~50 words is ideal; no more than 200 words total.

If on the longer side, an easy structure to consider: 2-3 sentences describing the focus of the session followed by 2-3 sentences or bullets for what attendees will learn/consider by the end of the session.

Target audience (optional)

Up to three types of audience members who would benefit the most from attending this session.

An example from a previous year to help explain: * Editors looking to refresh their content management workflows to prioritize what their newsrooms need most.

* Journalists trying to organize content syndication across multiple channels and platforms, keeping SEO, metrics, and revenue in mind.

* Technologists managing tools for everything from breaking news to longform series to daily stories to editorial calendars.

Speaker Details

ONA uses an event platform that will allow speakers to add all their own promotional information (bios, pictures, etc.) as well as sign the speaker release form. After speaker details are added below, an email will be sent from brian@journalists.org with onboarding information. Please note: This is only for the purposes of promotion and communication about the session. Information provided is not for the purposes of registration. As a reminder, all speakers and moderators participants must be registered for ONA24.

RSVP Details

This section will help ONA target and invite the attendees you hope to reach in Atlanta. Your event includes space and a complete breakfast buffet for 50 attendees and up to 5 staff/guests/speakers.

Please note: All attendees for this event must be registered and badged for ONA24, regardless of the length of time they will spend at the event.

Of the 50 attendee seats available, how many seats would like ONA to make available through the attendee RSVP process?

ONA will set-up an RSVP system for your event that can fill up all 50 attendee seats, or a smaller number of seats to allow you to personally invite ONA24 attendees (for example, the RSVP system can accept 40 attendee seats, leaving you 10 seats that you can invite personally). Regardless of the number of seats you set aside, ONA will also set up a waitlist once that number is reached. As the host of this event, you will receive both the RSVP and waitlist information.

Would you like ONA to send an invitation to a filtered list of conference attendees?

The moment your event's RSVP process goes live, ONA can send a targeted invitation to a filtered list of ONA24 attendees based on your preferences, making them the first to learn about and sign up to attend. Historically, these invitations immediately fill up the available spots. You can opt not to send a targeted note, instead opening it to all ONA24 attendees who will receive a notification that additional RSVP opportunities have opened, including your event.
