This award honors a senior-level individual who has significantly advanced or made lasting contributions to the field of digital journalism through their work in the industry, and who exhibits extraordinary commitment to the mission, value and vision of ONA. The ideal candidate will possess many of the following qualities: - Nominee must have senior leadership experience in digital media - Nominee must have made significant contributions to the mission, vision and values of ONA - Nominee must have made outstanding contributions to the journalism field - Nominee must have a demonstrated history of service and commitment to ONA over the years (including but not limited to serving as a conference speaker or volunteer, serving on a committee, taking an active role in advancing ONA initiatives, or being a local group organizer)
